Mrs. Suja Issac did her M.Sc. and M.Phil. in Foods & Nutrition at the Women’s Christian College, Chennai. (Both her M.Sc. and M.Phil. dissertation work, which was conducted at the Madras Medical College and the Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai were awarded the ‘Best Thesis Award’ from the University of Madras.) She did her Bachelors from the same college.

She was a lecturer at the Women’s Christian College, Chennai and the Mount Carmel College, Bengaluru, and has also completed the ‘Management Programme for Women Entrepreneurs’ at the Indian Institute of Management, (IIM), Bangalore.

She started the Holistic Wellness Clinic in 1998, a non-residential holistic integrative medical facility, which was the pilot project of SOUKYA.

She designed SOUKYA, the International Holistic Health Centre at Whitefield, Bengaluru for which she is the Co-Founder and Executive Director. This unique Centre started in 2002 integrates different Systems of Medicine like Ayurveda, Naturopathy, Homeopathy, etc and Complementary Therapies like Yoga, Acupuncture, Reflexology, etc whilst treating the person with a holistic approach – mind, body and spirit. Situated in a 30 acre organic farm, this Centre has had people from over 60 nationalities and has been rated by the India Today Survey, as the ‘Best Place for Nature Cure in India’.

She is also the Managing Director of SAHAYA, the Holistic Integrative Medical Centre started in May 2009 in Bengaluru that offers most of SOUKYA treatments to the masses, at affordable rates.

Being a trustee of the SOUKYA Foundation Charitable trust they also run 4 free and 2 charitable Holistic Homeopathic Clinics in Bengaluru since 1996.
The Department of AYUSH - Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India has funded the centre of excellence in association with SOUKYA Foundation.
